Major milestone reached: Automated data exchange for suppliers in XOM eProcurement

Thanks to an API, suppliers can process RFQs and quotes directly within their own system.

On our way to digitize the materials industry, we from XOM Materials constantly develop our products to bring added value to our users. In order to simplify the quoting process for suppliers even further, we have now opened XOM eProcurement for integrations and fully automated data exchange with any system a supplier might use. This is achieved by an interface we provide, which enables bi-directional communication between XOM eProcurement and the supplier’s system or application – an API (Application Programming Interface).

Faster quoting for suppliers

With an API, suppliers using XOM eProcurement can process RFQs and quotes directly within their own system without having to jump between tools. The data exchange happens automatically in the background. This means that information about incoming RFQs is automatically loaded from XOM eProcurement and then displayed in the supplier’s system. Similarly, a completed quote can be sent back to the buyer without the need to log in to XOM eProcurement.
